Abstract:
Ground moving targets indication (GMTI) for spaceborne sparse array radar has many advantages. Space-time adaptive processing (STAP) is an effective method for clutter suppression in GMTI. The paper firstly established the model of channel amplitude and phase errors for spaceborne sparse array with single-carrier-frequency mode and multi-carrier-frequency mode, and then derived clutter covariance matrix expression with errors introduced in the two modes, and then investigated the impact of amplitude and phase errors on optimal STAP. Finally, presented simulations and drew some preliminary conclusions on performance analysis of STAP for spaceborne sparse array in the presence of amplitude and phase errors.
