Abstract:
A turbo principle based iterative multiuser detection is proposed to reduce the BER in convolutional coded FFH/MFSK MA systems. The proposed algorithm for the multiuser detector is an iterative interference cancellation (IIC) scheme which is composed of a bank of soft-input soft-output (SISO) channel decoders. The reliable information from channel decoder is adopted to aide multiuser interference cancellation. For both the two-value and three-value system, detection thresholds are determined via Monte Carlo simulation. Numerical results show that three-value hard-limit system outperform two-value system.
