Inhalt:
We propose the Hammerich pulse as a transmit filter for minimum shift keying (HMSK). The spectral properties of HMSK are compared to Gaussian minimum shift keying (GMSK). Furthermore, simulation for coherent demodulation by means of the Laurent approximation and Wiener equalizer are performed in order to compare the bit error rate of both modulation schemes in the AWGN channel.
